Any financial and billing information collected through the Site is solely used to verify the qualifications of potential clients and to process billing for the Service. This billing information is not utilized by Dovetail Biopartners for marketing or promotional purposes, except as mentioned herein. We may use a third-party intermediary to handle credit card processing, and we may share necessary information with them.

Additionally, we may share or disclose your information, including Personal Information, in the following situations:

We reserve the right to disclose any Personal Information or other information as required by law, including in compliance with legal processes served on Dovetail Biopartners, or when we believe such action is necessary to (a) protect or defend the legal rights or property of Dovetail Biopartners, the Site, or its Clients, or (b) in emergency situations to safeguard the health and safety of the Site’s users or the general public.

This information is logged to assist in diagnosing technical issues and administering our Site to continually enhance the quality of our Service. We may also track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information from you and provide such information to third parties.

Anti-Spam Policy

Dovetail Biopartners adheres to an Anti-Spam policy for all its communication protocols. This means that we do not support unsolicited email messages, notifications, alerts, or any messages sent to you by someone who should not have your email address.

Inform Dovetail Biopartners of the incident and request to have your email blocked to prevent further messages from Dovetail Biopartners.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Definition: Any information or combination of information that identifies, links, or is unique to a person or individual. PII can be categorized as sensitive or non-sensitive. Sensitive PII is defined as information that, if lost or compromised, could potentially result in harm or identity theft. Non-sensitive PII is defined as publicly available information. This applies to both client and client’s customer data.

Sensitive PII Handling:

Sensitive PII will not be transmitted through attachments within email or other communication tools that are not encrypted.
All sensitive PII data is to be stored and shared directly through specific cloud tools to ensure encryption while not in use.
Permission to access data will only be shared with those who have been authorized to work on specified tasks.
Personal accounts will not have access to sensitive PII data.
Personal laptops or devices will not be used to access sensitive PII data.
When sensitive PII data is provided through insecure means, it must be transferred to one of the specified cloud tools, and any locally stored files should be deleted.
Once sensitive PII data is no longer needed, all previously stored data must be deleted.
If it is necessary to store sensitive PII on a local storage device, the hard drive must be encrypted.

Third Party Sites

The Site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these other websites. You should review the privacy policy of these other websites to understand their policies. When you access a linked site, you may be disclosing private information. It is your responsibility to keep such information private and confidential.
